Certification Details
- The RN Case Manager determines the appropriateness and medical necessity for all inpatient, observation, and swing-bed admissions, change in level of care and continued stay.
- Verifies all status orders and documentation on patients in the inpatient departments.
- Responsible for coordinating discharge to ensure continuity of care.
- Leads the Transition of Care Team for a targeted multidisciplinary approach to the discharge process for patients.
- Facilitates ancillary services for targeted patients.
Job Details
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
Job Requirements
- While we can't guarantee hours on our contracts, your traveler will be scheduled for around 36-40 hours per week.
- We do not downstaff, so they are essentially guaranteed hours.
Schedule Information
- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
- Housing is extremely expensive, especially in the winter. Please consider housing options in the surrounding towns: Basalt, Carbondale, & Glenwood Springs.
- $3,500/month is common for a 1BR apartment in Basalt.
- Travelers looking for a housing budget less than this should probably not be submitted.
- Not accepting any RTO.
- Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation).
